Well hello there. It's Monday, but we can still feel a slight pounding in our heads because WE HAD A FRIGGIN' AWESOME TIME!
On Thursday we embarked on an adventure, as we got on board Silja Europa to play at Luonnontieteilijöiden jouluristeily (a cruise for 2500 academic students). We were scheduled to play on Friday afternoon so we, shall we say, partied ourselves numb on Thursday-night. I personally was overwhelmed of all the colorful overalls and the hot ladies that were flocking around me wherever I went! Good times!
Fridays gig went well. We had feared that it would be a disaster because of our drummer using e-drums for the first time in 7 years and the restricted overall-volume. But hey, we performed our asses off and the music sounded good. The corridor got jammed with people and folks in the front-row constantly stumbled on to the stage. And WTF - the bassist is dressed as a BANANA!!!? Never ever have I experienced anything like that!
Thanks for everyone who showed up and for letting us do a kick-ass show.
After we got on dry land on Friday-afternoon and got used to the ground not moving, we went back to our rehearsal-studio and played with new ideas. Again we have atleast 2 new songs in the making, and both of them sound good already. I love working with these guys! :)
About the music-video: We've been asked a couple of times when it'll be ready and so forth. The only correct answer I can give you is, that you'll definitely know when it's ready. We've had some setbacks with schedules and locations, but... We'll get it done.
Next up we've got Kyy-Klubi in Turku next Friday - make sure you're there!
